Our First Ever Training Session

15th of March 2023 was the first time SunCity had a training session. We started with a small size of 4 players. 2 in which had played for years beforehand and Co-founded the program together; Terry & Byron. Tracy had been playing for half a year prior and same with Brodie. Together we had laughs and worked on sharpening each others skills on court the best we could. Though Brodie and Terry no longer remain at the program we still appreciate the level of happiness and competitive spirit they brought to the program. With Terry being mentioned regularly at our program as a sign of respect for the effort he put in alongside current player Byron. Terry will be forever appreciated for the effort he put in whilst remaining at the program early on and assisting with the foundation of what SunCity has built on. Terry Ansell's jersey number #57 has been retired by our program meaning no one else will wear the number he played in as a sign of honour and gratitude to his level of positive impact he had on the starting up of the program and his level of play as an athlete. Thankyou to the four players that participated in our first session, truly a stepping stone of many milestones to come.
